Official Rules

Double elimination

2 people per team

Scoring: Box = 1 point, Tube = 3 points

All point count - NO WASH

Boxes are 25 feet apart between center of tubes.

Must remain behind front of box / foul line.

First toss will be made by the team on top of the bracket.

Each player throws all washers, then opposing players do the same.  Each must be thrown individually, not together.

There are no "mulligans", each toss is final.

Winning team starts toss on subsequent rounds.

Play to 21, once a team reaches 21 both teams should complete that round.

In the event of a tie, another round (one player from each team in order) of throwing for both teams will occur until the tie is broken.

Each round will have a 25 minute time limit, if round is not complete after 25 minutes, team with highest score will be declared winner.

The official game clock WILL NOT be visible to players.  The purpose of this process is to eliminate clock watching and the possible delay of game tactics that could follow.

Any issues not covered by these rules will be decided by the Tournament Officials.

Any team or player violating the rules may be subject to ejection from the tournament!  One warning may be given, but egregious violations of the rules may call for immediate ejection, including removal from the grounds.  This includes flagrant violations of the foul line or any attempt to delay play.  Pace of play should be brisk and consistent throughout all matches.  Tournament Officials will be monitoring play and enforcing rules.
